Project
Street Life NGO was started in August 2021. It is a registered non-profit organization. Our Dog Rescue shelter is located in Murthal, Sonipat; a town where no place was available to keep injured and unwell furry friends. We managed to build a small heavenly adobe for our city dogs. We rescue dogs, treat them at the shelter, and release them back at their designated spot. Those who are unable to survive on the streets stay with us.
Our aim is to bring the needy dogs back to health both physically and mentally. We have 40+ dogs at our shelter at present. We take care of their every need from food to medicines. We also have a paravet available with us for the timely help.
The organization is the vision of 28-year-old Pardeep Garg who at a young age decided to create awareness about the condition of stray and abandoned animals in Sonipat. Apart from treating injured and ill dogs, our aim includes finding homes for Indian dogs and pups. We strongly promote #adoptdontshop.
We feed, treat, spay and neuter.
Unfortunately, not everyone is kind to them. In fact, animals face so many atrocities at the hands of humans. They are abandoned, left starving, and even abused and injured. Many consider them a nuisance when they bark helplessly or make their way to our compounds looking for even a little bit of food. And this is the story of countless stray animals in India.
Our volunteers across the city feed stray animals including cows and cats in their respective areas.
WE URGE MORE AND MORE PEOPLE TO COME FORWARD AND HELP US IN PROVIDING FOOD AND OTHER NECESSITIES TO THESE VOICELESS SOULS.
